What We Collect

Account Information

  • Email address: For license delivery, support, and optional updates
  • Payment information: Processed entirely by Stripe — we never see your card details
  • License key: Generated automatically to authenticate your access

Usage Data

  • Task execution logs: Which tasks you run, timestamps, and credit usage
  • Technical logs: API requests, errors, and performance metrics for service operation

What We DON'T Collect

  • Your documents: Local execution tasks process files entirely on your machine — they never reach our servers
  • Business or client details: We don't store the content of your queries beyond what's needed for processing
  • Location tracking: No GPS, no browser fingerprinting
  • Social connections: We are not tracking you across the web

How We Use Your Data

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and improve the MarketingTasksAI service
  • Process payments and manage your credits
  • Send transactional emails (license keys, receipts, support responses)
  • Send optional product updates (if you subscribe)
  • Troubleshoot technical issues
  • Detect and prevent abuse or fraud

Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your data. Period.

We share limited data only with essential service providers:

  • Stripe: For payment processing (governed by Stripe's own privacy policy)
  • Google Cloud Platform: Our infrastructure provider for hosting and database services
  • Anthropic: For AI processing of server-side tasks (see Anthropic's data policies for current retention terms)

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How Tasks Handle Your Data

Server-Side Tasks

Research, lookups, and calculations run on our servers. Your query is sent to us, processed, and results returned. We keep minimal logs for troubleshooting and billing purposes.

Local Execution Tasks

Your documents are never sent to MarketingTasksAI. We deliver the expert framework; your local AI assistant applies it to files on your machine. If you use a cloud AI provider, your documents are sent to that provider for processing — review their data policies for details.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices:

  • HTTPS encryption for all communications
  • License key authentication
  • Secure database storage (Google Cloud Firestore)
  • Regular security updates
  • Limited employee access to user data

No system is 100% secure. Keep your license key private and use good security practices on your own systems.

Data Retention

  • Account data: Kept as long as your account is active
  • Usage logs: Retained 90 days for billing and troubleshooting
  • Financial records: Kept for 7 years as required by tax law
  • Email subscribers: Until you unsubscribe

Your Rights

You can:

  • Access your data: Email us to request a copy of what we hold
  • Correct errors: Request updates to your email or account info
  • Delete your account: We'll remove your data, except financial records required by law
  • Opt out of emails: Unsubscribe from marketing anytime; transactional emails (receipts, license keys) will still be sent

We use minimal tracking:

  • No advertising cookies

Third-Party AI Providers

MarketingTasksAI delivers expert task frameworks. Your AI assistant (not us) processes your content. Depending on your setup:

  • Local LLM: Your data stays entirely on your machine — no third-party processing
  • Cloud AI (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI): Your queries and documents are sent to the provider for processing. Review your provider's data retention policies before using with sensitive materials.

Children's Privacy

MarketingTasksAI is intended for professional and business use. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

International Users

Our servers are located in the United States. By using MarketingTasksAI, you consent to data transfer to the US. We comply with applicable data protection laws.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email (if subscribed) or a notice on the website. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated policy.
